Here’s Prior Authorization for you to complete. The purpose of a prior authorization is to get advance approval from the insurance company for a service ordered by the physician. In this case, you will be completing a PA request for a prescription ordered by the doctor. For other services (such as referrals or imaging), our referral department obtains the approval from the insurance company. It usually takes 1 week or less and the patient gets notified.
