In the preliminary stages of your research paper, you will be required to find, read, and review various references that pertain to your topic of study. After a basic scan or perusal of some articles, you will likely select a topic you plan to investigate. In order to help narrow down your broad research topic to a more specific research question or area, it will help to review similar articles and studies that have been done in the field. Thus, your assignment is to find a peer-reviewed article that pertains to your “potential” research topic you will be working on this semester and write an article summary. I have provided three examples on how to write article summaries that you may reference. You are not required to use this format alone.
