In Unit 2, we have been concentrating on breaking the cycle of escalation. You’ve been introduced to numerous concepts that clarify communication and behaviors that escalate conflict, how to de-escalate conflict when it is safe to do so, and explore key aspects of forgiveness and reconciliation. Your Unit 2 Assessment aims to analyze an interpersonal conflict using the concepts we’ve covered in chapters 5-9.
Instructions: Write a formal assessment analyzing an interpersonal conflict that you’ve experienced in the past or a conflict that you are still attempting to resolve. Use the guidelines below to format your case study and develop the needed content. You should review the concepts from Unit 2 to select an appropriate conflict, analyze it, and make relevant recommendations for that situation or dealing with situations like that in the future. This case study follows the same format and structure as the first assignment so I encourage you to look at the feedback you received on your first assessment to use as a guide for this assignment.
